Position Summary
The Alcohol Cart Attendant is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and professional beverage service to guests throughout the venue using a mobile beverage cart. This role helps enhance the guest experience by maintaining high service standards, ensuring responsible alcohol service, and keeping carts fully stocked and organized during events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate mobile alcohol/beverage carts throughout the amphitheatre during concerts and events
Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with all local and state alcohol laws
Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service at all times
Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and appearance of beverage carts and work areas
Restock beverages, cups, ice, and supplies throughout events as needed
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to supervisors
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Follow all company safety, sanitation, and alcohol compliance policies
Assist with setup and breakdown before and after events
Work collaboratively with bartenders, warehouse staff, supervisors, and event management teams
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old
Previous food & beverage, bartending, concessions, or customer service experience preferred
Ability to obtain required alcohol service certification (SMART- Alcohol, or equivalent)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and outdoor events in varying weather conditions
Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Preferred Skills
Experience working concerts, festivals, stadiums, or entertainment venues
Ability to handle high-volume sales efficiently and accurately
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to remain calm and professional during busy events
Work Environment
