What you’ll do

Define the short to long term evolution plan and respective budget for mobile radio (new sites, capacity, spectrum strategy etc). Analyse mobile radio performance and propose actions for optimization and areas to focus improvement.

More specifically you will:

  • Drive and define the short to long term evolution plan and respective budget for mobile radio access network in co-operation with Engineering and Operations teams
  • Analyse RAN performance and Customer experience data (network, crowd sourcing and drive measurements) to extract actionable insights, identify network bottlenecks and propose actions to improve ensure exceptional user experience
  • Drive optimization proposals to improve coverage and performance of mobile radio access network including spectrum re-farming, capacity utilization and interference optimization
  • Co-ordinate the implementation of new mobile radio technologies and features, in co-operation with Engineering teams
  • Analyse available radio products, identify and propose the optimum HW evolution for mobile aiming to deliver efficiencies and optimize performance

Who you are

  • MSc Degree in Telecoms related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in similar position within a service provider/operator or vendor
  • Strong experience in Mobile Radio Access technologies (LTE/5G-NR), Radio systems optimization, performance and quality KPIs
  • Experience with RAN network architecture, E2E call flows (VoLTE, data), RAN Features and RF Engineering Principles
  • Experience with RAN Performance Management Systems, BI systems (TABLEAU, QLIK Sense, PowerBI, etc.), basic SQL scripting and big data analysis
  • Experience in field measurements analysis and post-processing platforms (Smart Analytics, Actix, Nemo, TEMS)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; co-operating in complex organizations with large matrix organisations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Greek & English
