We are seeking a Senior Quotation Engineer to join our team.
As a Senior Quotation Engineer for Medium Voltage solutions, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive, and technically compliant quotations for customers across EMEA, focusing on utility, data center, and industrial segments. Your primary responsibility is to analyze customer requirements, identify the most suitable Eaton solution, and prepare optimized techno-commercial offers for Medium Voltage switchgear applications.
Working closely with Sales, BDMs, Application Engineers, and other plant stakeholders, you will manage assigned quotations from RFQ receipt through handover to execution teams. The role requires strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver customer-focused solutions, support profitable business growth, and effectively manage deal risks.

Hengelo, The Netherlands Ankara, Turkey (Temelli or Sincan sites)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality quotations within agreed timelines, ensuring technical accuracy, commercial competitiveness, and compliance with customer requirements.
- Review and analyze customer specifications, single-line diagrams, datasheets, schedules, and project/tender documentation to identify technical and commercial requirements.
- Select, configure, and optimize Medium Voltage switchgear solutions in line with customer requirements, applicable standards, and Eaton product capabilities.
- Own the preparation of complete techno-commercial offers by coordinating technical and commercial inputs from relevant stakeholders and ensuring delivery of high-quality customer proposal packages.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions are technically compliant, feasible to execute, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Develop competitive quotations by balancing customer expectations, technical requirements, lead times, project/tender risks, and profitability objectives.
- Identify, assess, and communicate technical, commercial, and execution risks, while supporting mitigation actions throughout the quotation process.
- Manage quotation revisions, customer clarification requests, and support the successful handover of awarded projects to execution teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned activities while maintaining awareness of market trends, competitor offerings, and product developments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quotation and tendering activities within the electrical power distribution industry, with proven knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear solutions and exposure to international projects.
- Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage (MV) switchgear products, applications, and power distribution systems.
- Commercially aware, with the ability to balance technical compliance, competitiveness, profitability, and risk.
- Knowledge of transformers, E-House solutions, and Low Voltage (LV) power distribution systems is considered an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
