The Security Officer - Bank Protection will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. The Security Officer - Bank Protection may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice. Site Locations: Atlanta Ga  Employment Type: Full Time Starting Base Pay Rate: $19.99 / hour Availability: Saturday 8am - 1pm, Monday-Friday 8am - 5:30pm RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot, will be required to stand for the duration of your shiftWatch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazardsSound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized personsWarn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articlesPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exitsObserve departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirementsInvestigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the postAid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMake emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post OrdersMake productivity and cost reduction recommendations to managementMake recommendations for physical security surveys and post ordersQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent2+ years of prior security experience, prefer armed security, military, law enforcement Be at least 21 years of age, or higher if required by the state Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.*A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions onlyBe able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitorsDemonstrated ability to interact cordially and communicate with the publicEffective oral and written communicationProblem solvingActive listeningAssess and evaluate situations effectivelyIdentify critical issues quickly and accuratelyCompile, sort, and interpret dataResearch, investigate, compile informationMediate conflict with tact, diplomacyWrite informatively, clearly, and accuratelyTeamworkAttention to detailPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic)BENEFITS:Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions Schedules that fit with your personal life goalsOngoing paid training programs and career growth opportunitiesEmployee discounts through our perks program to...
