Operating Room Assistant - Surgical

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager or Team Leader, the Operating Room Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized department. Assists nurses and anesthesia with either patient care or equipment needs; responsible for the ordering and stocking of supplies, transporting patients, and may include surgery scheduling.

Required qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred qualifications:

• Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
• 1 year of Surgical Services Department Support Position.
