As the Retail Visual Experience Director, you will champion the physical distribution strategic vision within PNC's Retail Organization.

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary executive to lead the design, development, and execution of immersive, client-centric retail environments.

This role sits at the intersection of marketing design, technology, real estate (realty), security, and hospitality, serving as a key liaison across functions to bring cohesive, high-impact experiences to life.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on creative leader with strong program management expertise - someone who can seamlessly move from concept development to execution while navigating the operational realities of large, matrixed organizations. This individual will play a critical role in shaping how customers experience our physical retail spaces, ensuring each environment is both visually compelling and strategically aligned with the brand.

Job Description

Additional Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the end-to-end branch experience strategy and multi-year design roadmap.
  • Lead program management of branch design, from prototype through scaled rollout.
  • Establish and enforce design standards, toolkits, and governance controls.
  • Serve as the cross-functional integrator across Marketing, Tech, Realty, Hospitality, Security, and Analytics.
  • Translate brand, customer insights, and business goals into cohesive physical + digital experiences.
  • Optimize customer journey, traffic flow, and in-branch engagement through test-and-learn approaches.
  • Embed hospitality-driven service models and ambiance into physical environments.
  • Support capital planning and portfolio strategy, including board-level visioning.
  • Drive continuous improvement across new builds, renovations, and evolving branch formats.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the strategy development of multi-channel integrated engagement programs to drive engagement, loyalty and share of wallet growth.
  • The ideal candidate will need to work with marketing, security, reality, technology, and external vendors to deliver a program view.
  • Accountable to maintain the standards and build controls to ensure those standards are achieved.
  • Gains alignment across markets and other lines of business to drive change.
  • Performs complex, specialized and multi-phased initiatives related to Retail Physical Distribution business objectives.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key leaders, major service partners, or vendors.
  • Identifies and addresses staff training and development needs in order to optimize employee development and engagement.
  • Ensure consistent alignment between company-wide brand and marketing strategies.
  • Establishes vision and strategy and leads teams to achieve desired outcomes across multiple customer segments and/or business lines. Directs and leads multi-functional teams and removes barriers to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Fosters, develops and ensures high-performing strategic relationships, third parties and/or internal business partners to achieve results.
  • Manages teams' delivery of business, risk, financial and process commitments.
  • Oversees the teams' use of customer analytics and insights to positively impact customer interactions and business outcomes.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $123,200.00 – $274,560.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
