The Contracts and Lease Analyst is responsible for administering and maintaining the CoStar Real Estate Manager database for owned, leased, and concession properties across North America and Canada, ensuring accurate lease records, compliance with contractual obligations, and effective management of the organization’s real estate portfolio. In this role, the analyst reviews and abstracts lease agreements, establishes payment schedules, analyzes lease terms, and works closely with landlords, internal stakeholders, and finance teams to process lease-related payments, reconcile accounts, resolve disputes, and support reporting needs. Success in the position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 

The starting salary for this role is $55,000, commensurate with experience. 


What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and administer the CoStar Real Estate Manager database for owned, leased, and concession properties throughout North America and Canada
  • Review and analyze lease documents including leases, amendments, renewals, subleases, and airport concession agreements
  • Abstract lease data and establish rent and payment schedules for all North American locations, including airport locations
  • Review invoices, statements, recurring rent payments, one-time payments, and rent adjustments for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare and review annual NNN reconciliations and reconcile unbalanced lease ledgers
  • Manage landlord relationships related to lease payments and contractual obligations
  • Resolve landlord and tenant payment disputes, discrepancies, and lease-related issues in accordance with lease provisions
  • Utilize CoStar Real Estate Manager, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applications to support lease administration activities
  • Collaborate with internal real estate, accounting, and operational teams as well as external landlords and concession partners
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

 

What We Are Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required; an Associate’s degree with two years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in lease administration, contract analysis, real estate operations, accounting support, or a related field preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to review, interpret, and analyze lease agreements and related contracts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to assess, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while also working independently and exercising sound judgment
