The Plant Engineering Manager has a major impact on the overall safety, productivity, sustainability, and efficiency of the facility through improved engineering designs, capital evaluations and sourcing. Accountabilities include cost reduction in manufacturing, improved equipment efficiency, developing a highly motivated team, compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations, meeting budget guidelines, developing capital plans, and compliance with S-W programs such as Reliability Excellence, Continuous Improvement Projects, Six Sigma support, and Housekeeping Excellence.
20% Travel
Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.

• This position is responsible for managing the engineering, maintenance and sustainability functions of the plant.
• Oversees maintenance service and repair for all equipment.
• Provides engineering support for the purchase, construction, installation and modification of production facilities.
• Incumbent must manage the budgets of the Maintenance and Engineering Departments, while preserving assets, reducing operating costs, and increasing equipment up time (reduce downtime). This position directly impacts equipment life, operating costs, the safety of all employees, and the environmental impact on the community.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience managing and prioritizing projects, budgets and timelines
- Prior experience managing conflicting demands
- Prior experience with communicating progress and status reports to multiple levels of management
- Prior experience with managing project teams
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred
- Expertise in project management
- Prior experience applying and leading Continuous Improvement processes such as 6 Sigma, Lean, Root Cause and/or Reliability Engineering
- Six Sigma Certification is preferred
- Willingness to relocate if in the future considered for promotional opportunities is preferred
