DNV's Maritime Communications and Marketing team reinforces DNV's thought leadership and accelerates revenue generation within a maritime industry that shifts towards a digital, efficient, and eco-friendly future. Comprising over 30 international professionals, our team handles strategy, leadership and marketing communication, branding, digital communications, media relations, PR, social media, and employee communications.

The Digital Marketing & Sales Enablement team leads DNV Maritime's digital marketing initiatives, focusing on generating valuable digital leads and revenue through a digital commerce approach. We collaborate closely with our global sales and business development organization to optimize the end-to-end lead and digital commerce process and create measurable business impact.

We are seeking an ambitious, digitally savvy Global Marketing Data and Insights Specialist located in Pune, India, and reporting to the Head of Marketing Technology and Insights.

The global digital marketing and sales enablement team is spread across four locations – Oslo, Hamburg, Singapore and Pune. As part of our professionalization and scaling journey, you will play an integral role in advancing our operational excellence, shaping our marketing technology landscape, and enabling our data-driven marketing ambitions

Main responsibilities:

  • Acts as a champion for a consistent data strategy, define and implement data governance, ensure data quality and readiness for our data-driven marketing strategy
  • Evolve the marketing data lake into a governed, reliable, scalable intelligence platform
  • Leverage AI to enable data-driven foresight and operations
  • Connect, analyze, and interpret marketing data across CRM, web analytics, social, and marketing automation into insights, dashboards, and recommendations that improve conversion, ROI, and campaign performance 
  • Proactively develop and share recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns to improve ROI and performance measurement
  • Collaborate across the teams and hierarchies to enable the diverse insights and reporting needs with standard reports and dashboards
  • Track KPIs and build performance metrics to evaluate the campaign effectiveness by developing and implementing a clear data harvesting, aggregation and analytics strategy 
  • Enable teams to self-serve standard reports and dashboards

  • 7-10 years in marketing data, analytics, insights, and dashboards
  • Practical experience with SQL, Python, warehouse and PowerBI; building and maintaining reliable pipelines, data modelling and dashboards
  • Data governance and quality, including privacy and GDPR readiness
  • Turning multi-source marketing data (CRM, web, social, marketing automation) into insight and recommendations that move conversion and ROI
  • Experienced in turning data into user-friendly usuals and reports that are intuitive and ready to use by business users
  • Confident working across a distributed, global organization
  • Applied experience with LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks are a strong plus
