Department: Gadsden Physician Management Shift’s Available: Days Employment Type: PRN or Per Diem Hours: 8-hour Location: Riverview Pulmonology Associates, Gadsden, AL A Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (Pulmonary NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) specializing in diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders of the respiratory system. They work closely with pulmonologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for both acute and chronic lung conditions.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.
Qualifications
