Job description 

 

We are seeking an experienced SAP business objects consultant with strong hands-on expertise in developing managing and troubleshooting enterprise BI solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of SAP BOBJ tools to be capable of delivering optimized reports and dashboards and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience in SAP analytics cloud will be considered a strong advantage 

 

Responsibilities 

Data Integration & ETL: Build, schedule, and monitor robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources (APIs, transactional databases, streams) into centralized storage.  

• Data Storage & Architecture: Design and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and analytical databases ensuring secure, organized, and accessible data structures.  

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and tune data queries, cluster sizes, and pipeline execution times to maximize processing efficiency and minimize cloud expenditure.  

• Data Governance & Security: Implement role-based access control (RBAC), data encryption, and compliance frameworks (such as Unity Catalog).  

Required Technical Skills & Tech Stack 

• Cloud Services: Mastery of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. 

• Programming Languages: Advanced SQL alongside Python or Scala for data manipulation and Spark processing. 

• Data Modeling: Experience with dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and data warehousing principles. 

• DevOps & SDLC: Version control with Git and CI/CD automation pipelines for deploying production-grade data code.  

Qualifications & Experience 

• Experience: 

• Certifications: Industry standard validation through the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) credential 

 

Mandatory Skill Sets:

• Prior experience in Host Path mounting for event-based scheduling, • Hands-on experience in CMS & FRS Recovery, • Upgradation from BOBJ 4.3 to BI-2025.

Preferred Skill Sets:

• Exposure to SAP Datasphere or SAP BW/4HANA integration with BOBJ/SAC. • Experience working in agile BI delivery models

Years of Experience required:

Typically 4 to 6 years of hands-on data engineering, software development, or database administration experience within cloud environments.

B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, MCA
