Data Technician (Packaging)

About the role

TMS Global are seeking a Data Technician to work within the Shared Services Centre, you will be responsible for supporting the management of specification/Point of Sale data and specifications across multiple materials.  The role focuses on maintaining accurate specifications/POS databases, assisting in data collection, creating and reviewing 2D/3D drawings and supporting technical documentation.  This role is offered on an initial 12 month contract and will support European working hours.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in collecting and recording specification/POS from customers, suppliers and specification/POS development team.
  • Create, update and check 2D & 3D specification/POS drawings and key lines in CAD for retail specifications, ensuring accuracy against customer and supplier requirements.
  • Provide technical data support for procurement.
  • Monitor and maintain KPI’s replated to specification/POS data accuracy and timeframes.

About you

To be successful in the role, the following skills are essential:

  • Fluency in English both spoken and written, together with language skills based on the local region.
  • Hands-on experience in CAD software (Artios or similar) including creating 2D & 3D specification/POS drawings and key lines for retail specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail with solid a analysis exposure, together with experience in analysing customer satisfaction metrics and implementing improvements.
  • Retail experience or knowledge of the print and display industry.
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and all Microsoft Office Platforms, including Excel and Power BI.

As Data Technician you will have strong CAD skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to ensure timely and accurate delivery of  multiple projects.
