Data Technician (Packaging)

About the role
TMS Global are seeking a Data Technician to work within the Shared Services Centre, you will be responsible for supporting the management of specification/Point of Sale data and specifications across multiple materials. The role focuses on maintaining accurate specifications/POS databases, assisting in data collection, creating and reviewing 2D/3D drawings and supporting technical documentation. This role is offered on an initial 12 month contract and will support European working hours.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in collecting and recording specification/POS from customers, suppliers and specification/POS development team.
- Create, update and check 2D & 3D specification/POS drawings and key lines in CAD for retail specifications, ensuring accuracy against customer and supplier requirements.
- Provide technical data support for procurement.
- Monitor and maintain KPI’s replated to specification/POS data accuracy and timeframes.
About you
To be successful in the role, the following skills are essential:
- Fluency in English both spoken and written, together with language skills based on the local region.
- Hands-on experience in CAD software (Artios or similar) including creating 2D & 3D specification/POS drawings and key lines for retail specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with solid a analysis exposure, together with experience in analysing customer satisfaction metrics and implementing improvements.
- Retail experience or knowledge of the print and display industry.
- Competency in Adobe Creative Suite and all Microsoft Office Platforms, including Excel and Power BI.
