Role Title:</strong> </p><p> Analyst – Lab Operations</p><p><br></p><p><strong>2. Department/Function:</strong> </p><p> Facilities & Operations – Tech Operations</p><p><br></p><p><strong>3. Reporting Structure:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Reports to:</strong> Facility and Operations</li><li><strong>Direct Reports: </strong>Individual contributor</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>4. Role Summary:</strong></p><p>This role will be responsible for core activities in Facilities & Operations of cell & gene therapies and lentivirus, including CAR T manufacturing, GMP documentation, GMP equipment oversight and QMS compliance. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>5. Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Manage day-to-day site operations for all labs</li><li>Maintain infrastructure for the successful manufacturing of commercial and clinical batches.</li><li>Oversee functioning & maintenance of common and lab-related spaces.</li><li>Manage the Tech-Ops for the maintenance of GMP manufacturing suites, R&D Labs and QC area. </li><li>Coordinate with utility vendors for timely delivery of materials (liquid nitrogen, gas cylinders).</li><li>Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for calibration, AMC, breakdown, and maintenance of equipment and instruments. Spare parts management </li><li>Track AMC and calibration planner for lab instruments</li><li>Record and ensure proper disposal of biomedical waste.</li><li>Drive R&D lab equipment procurement, maintenance, and management.</li><li>Support R&D sample management.</li><li>Act as SPOC for clinical samples received for R&D purposes.</li><li>Ensure QMS compliance and maintain technical documentation including maintenance records, calibration certificates, service reports, equipment logs, and asset documentation in compliance with QMS requirements. </li><li>Lead CAPA, deviation responses & investigations for infra-related issues</li><li>Drive EHS related activities with all safety policies and procedures. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li><li>Follow safety guidelines and procedures.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>6. Primary Objectives:</strong></p><p><br></p><ol><li>Optimized and efficient execution of Facilities activities.</li><li>Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of Facilities & Operations goals.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>7. Competencies Required:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Technical Competencies:</strong></li></ul><ol><li>GMP cleaning.</li><li>GMP working knowledge.</li><li>Knowledge of aseptic handling techniques</li><li>Closed loop operations.</li><li>Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety Procedures etc.,</li><li>Sample Management</li></ol><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Soft Skills: </strong></li></ul><p><br></p><ol><li>Team player</li><li>Ethical</li><li>Organized</li><li>Detail oriented</li><li>Committed</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong>8. Qualifications:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Diploma / Associate / Bachelors in Medical Laboratory Technology, Laboratory Technology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry.</li><li>Preferred 3-4 years’ experience in GMP environment and related disciplines.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>9. Working Conditions:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li><strong>Role Type: </strong>Full Time and Onsite </li><li><strong>Work Hours: </strong>9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for the General Shift and 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM for the Post-Noon Shift (on a rotational basis).
