Job Description
As a Security Guard Armed Driver Patrol Response in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. - Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, perimeter, and delivery areas.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft and unauthorized access.
- Maintain required armed-post credentials and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
