National Project Logistics Pricing Expert is at the heart of delivering successful Project Logistics solutions. This role combines commercial expertise, strategic thinking, and operational understanding to transform complex customer requirements into competitive and executable logistics solutions.
Working across pricing, procurement, and project execution activities, the successful candidate will play a key role in securing new business opportunities, supporting critical project deliveries, and driving sustainable growth within the Project Logistics organization. By collaborating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, the Pricing Expert contributes directly to operational and commercial excellence while helping deliver some of the most challenging logistics projects.
How you create impact
- Develop and deliver competitive pricing solutions across all transport modes and cargo classifications, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, operational feasibility, and commercial objectives.
- Assess operational feasibility during solution design and pricing stages and support the planning and execution of Project Logistics shipments, providing operational guidance and ownership for complex, critical, or time-sensitive projects when required.
- Lead sourcing and procurement activities for complex Project Logistics opportunities, leveraging strategic supplier relationships to secure optimal commercial and operational outcomes.
- Serve as the primary pricing subject matter expert and key point of contact for internal stakeholders and the Project Logistics network on quotations, tenders, RFQs, and pricing-related matters, ensuring timely, accurate, and commercially sound submissions.
- Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, carriers, hubs, chartering teams, engineering teams, Business Units, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, identify commercial opportunities, and support sustainable business growth.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with service providers while ensuring compliance with company standards, subcontractor management requirements, and HSE policies.
- Monitor and analyze pricing performance, including quote conversion, win/loss ratios, margins, and market trends, identifying opportunities to enhance profitability, competitiveness, and business growth.
- Participate in customer meetings, site surveys, cargo assessments, project reviews, and operational visits as required to support solution development, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Project Logistics operations, pricing, procurement, or freight forwarding, with a strong understanding of end-to-end project execution and commercial solution development.
- Strong commercial and pricing capabilities combined with practical Project Logistics operational experience.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, build positive working relationships, and contribute to a high-performance team environment.
- Good understanding of multimodal transportation, including ocean, air, road, charter, breakbulk, and project cargo solutions.
- Experience in pricing, quotations, RFQs/RFPs, tender management, and margin-focused commercial decision-making.
- Knowledge of supplier management, strategic sourcing, and procurement practices within the logistics industry.
- Experience in site surveys, cargo inspections, transport planning, and coordination of complex logistics operations is considered an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English and Turkish, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience with pricing and logistics management tools are an advantage.
