THE JOB:

The Associate Creative Director, MGM Brand is the creative steward for the MGM master brand and its connected sub-brands, including MGM Rewards, MGM Live, MGM Resorts, and the Meetings & Conventions product. The role provides day-to-day creative oversight and hands-on contribution across all creative needs for these brands, including brand design, baseline content, copywriting, and integrated creative work in a multi-disciplinary environment, ensuring the master brand architecture is expressed clearly, consistently, and with appropriate distinction across each sub-brand.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Brand & Creative Stewardship: Steward the brand identity, voice, and visual expression for assigned portfolios, master brands, or strategic initiatives, which may include luxury resorts, lifestyle properties, entertainment and sports partnerships, master brand loyalty programs, or specialized content initiatives
  • Creative Development & Oversight: Lead or support the day-to-day conceptualization, development, and execution of campaigns, content, identity systems, activations, or signature brand moments, ensuring quality and brand integrity at the speed the business demands
  • Hands-On Creative Contribution: Deliver original concepts, art direction, design, content, and/or copywriting as needed to support complex, high-profile, or escalated creative projects across various formats
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders—which could include Property Presidents, Marketing Leads, Entertainment, F&B, Brand Partnerships, Strategy, or venue operators—to translate business strategies, audience segmentation, and guest experiences into integrated creative solutions
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, or guide and mentor matrixed designers, copywriters, external creative agencies, and production partners as assigned, ensuring creative consistency and excellence
  • Full-Funnel & Experience Design: Oversee or contribute to creative programming across the full marketing funnel, which may involve designing end-to-end consumer journeys across pre-event, in-event, and post-event touchpoints
  • Emerging Capabilities & Technology: Evaluate, prototype, and/or integrate emerging tools, models, and platforms (such as generative AI) into creative workflows as appropriate, with necessary quality and compliance controls

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • This role requires a bachelor's degree in design, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Fine Arts, Brand Management, or a related field, alongside at least 7 years of progressive creative, art direction, or content experience in an agency, in-house, or content-led environment.
  • Candidates must present a professional portfolio demonstrating large-scale creative capabilities in campaigns, identity, content, or experiential activations.
  • The position demands a proven track record of managing direct reports, mentoring matrixed creative teams, or guiding external agencies. Additionally, applicants must possess excellent communication and presentation skills for collaborating with senior leadership, and show high proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern collaboration tools.

THE PERKS & BENEFITS:

  • Comprehensive wellness programs designed to support employees’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
  • Exclusive access to company-sponsored discounts across hospitality, dining, retail, entertainment, travel, technology, and a wide range of partner offerings.
  • Complimentary parking both during and outside of scheduled work hours.
  • Competitive health, wellness, and income protection benefits for eligible employees.
  • Ongoing professional growth and career development through leadership programs, learning opportunities, strategic networking, and community engagement initiatives.
