Midforest Veterinary Practice - Lyndhurst, Hampshire
Salary up to £70,000 DOE, welcome bonus up to £5,000 and relocation allowance up to £5,000
At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
For over 40 years, Midforest Vets, part of ivc, has been a trusted part of the local community, building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team, offering the opportunity to become part of a practice where clinical excellence, teamwork and compassionate care are at the heart of everything we do.
A Varied Caseload with Clinical Freedom
This is a fantastic first-opinion role offering a rewarding mix of consultations, surgery and medical case work-ups. You'll enjoy the opportunity to manage and follow your own cases, caring for a varied caseload that includes cats, dogs, rabbits and guinea pigs. Alongside routine procedures, you'll also benefit from a busy dentistry caseload, making this an ideal role for a vet who enjoys developing their surgical and medical skills.
A Team That Invests in You
You'll be joining a close-knit team of four Veterinary Surgeons, six experienced RVNs and a dedicated Client Care Team who work collaboratively to provide outstanding patient care. Supported by certificate holders in ultrasound and dentistry, you'll have plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues, with CPD and certificate study actively encouraged to help you achieve your career ambitions.
Well Equipped to Deliver Exceptional Care
Working across our Totton and Lyndhurst sites, you'll have access to modern facilities including digital and dental radiography, ultrasound and a fully equipped in-house laboratory, giving you everything you need to confidently investigate and manage your cases to a high clinical standard.
Work-Life Balance That Really Matters
Full-time hours are worked across four 10-hour days, with just 1:5 Saturday mornings (8:30am–12:30pm), worked as sole charge. There are no out-of-hours or on-call commitments, allowing you to enjoy a genuine work-life balance while pursuing a rewarding veterinary career.
Enjoy Life in West Totton
Perfectly positioned on the edge of the New Forest National Park, West Totton offers the best of both worlds.
