The Sales Trader also serves as an intermediary in trading for clients. The overall objective of this role is to act as strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.Responsibilities:Market Citigroup’s execution capabilities, contribute to team strategy and deliver a high level of customer serviceDevelop new relationships, cement current relationships and share existing relationships with Citi colleaguesCross sell into Swaps / ETFs / PB / Derivatives etc. and offer certain client full sales trading plus trading coverageEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policyLead strong governance and controlsWork in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructureBuild a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethicsAppropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; demonstrating proper consideration for the firm’s reputationBe familiar with and adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and the Plan of Supervision for Global Markets and Securities ServicesAdhere to all policies and procedures as defined by your role which will be communicated to youObtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframeAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.Qualifications:6-10 years of relevant experienceExperience in developing and maintaining client relationships, from acquisition to ownership of prominent institutional accountsKnowledge of equity trading, different trading strategies, equities, the market place and market issuesConsistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communicationProven negotiation and persuasion skillsProven ability to prioritize workload effectively to meet deadlinesFluency in additional languages desiredEducation:Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred This site uses only strictly necessary cookies to perform basic functions.
