Our Digital Transformation
The Coca‑Cola Company is evolving into a more digital‑first, data‑driven enterprise to fuel sustainable growth, increase speed to market, and unlock new sources of value. Rapid advances in technology, data, and AI create a unique opportunity to accelerate the Coca-Cola System’s next chapter of growth by reimagining our core competitive advantages. Building on a strong foundation of modernized infrastructure, global digital experiences, early data capabilities, and proven use cases, we are now shifting from early wins to scaled, end-to-end impact on growth, productivity, and efficiency.
This next phase moves us from an analog world to a fully digitized one, powered by a digital growth engine that embeds data, technology, and AI into our most critical business domains. Success will require more than technology implementation; it demands a strategic transformation of core capabilities, a domain-based, product-centric operating model, and a cultural shift toward experimentation, data and technology fluency, and seamless partnership between business and digital teams.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Director, Digital Strategy to turn our digital ambition into the analysis, plans, and operating rhythm that move it forward. Reporting to the Head of Digital Strategy, you will support that strategy by building the fact base behind where The Coca-Cola Company places its digital bets, drafting and maintaining the strategy and roadmap, and running the cadence and scorecard that keep the agenda on track. Where the strategy is set at the enterprise level, you make it real, rigorous, and actionable.
This is a hands-on strategy role for someone who can go from a blank page to a board-ready recommendation. You will frame ambiguous problems, build the analysis and business cases that justify investment, prioritize proofs of concept and use cases against clear criteria, and translate decisions into roadmaps that product, data, and engineering teams can execute. You will work shoulder to shoulder with the Head of Digital Strategy and act as a trusted point of contact for partners across the transformation organization, functions, and markets.
The ideal candidate pairs the structured problem solving of a top-tier strategist with strong understanding of digital, data, and AI. You are comfortable owning the detail, whether that is a prioritization model, a value case, a roadmap, or the mechanics of a quarterly business review, and you turn it into something leaders can decide on quickly.
What You’ll Do for Us
Build and maintain the strategy fact base: develop the analysis, market and competitive scans, and business cases that inform where The Coca-Cola Company invests in digital, and turn them into clear recommendations for the Head of Digital Strategy and senior leaders
Translate enterprise strategy into actionable digital capabilities and roadmaps: bridge the enterprise strategy and digital strategy; maintain the domain taxonomy and the end-to-end roadmap as priorities, dependencies, and capabilities evolve
Prioritize use cases and proofs of concept: apply clear criteria to rank digital and AI opportunities by value, momentum, and speed to impact, and recommend which proofs of concept to pursue, which to scale, and which to stop
Run the operating cadence: own the mechanics of the strategy-to-execution rhythm, including business reviews, leadership forums, and value-tracking checkpoints, so decisions are well prepared, captured, and followed through
Support funding and governance: prepare the materials and analysis behind investment decisions, decision rights, and outcome-based funding, and help run the governance forums that allocate resources to the highest-value initiatives
Maintain the digital scorecard: track transformation progress and the business outcomes driven by digital, surface the insights that inform reprioritization, and prepare clear, accurate reporting for senior stakeholders
Partner across the system: act as a strategy partner for product, engineering, data, functions, and markets, building the alignment and shared understanding that turn strategy into adoption
Tell the story: produce crisp, executive-ready narratives and materials that make complex digital choices clear and decision-ready
Requirements & Qualifications
We are looking for a sharp, hands-on digital strategist who can own the analysis and turn it into action.
5+ years of experience in digital or technology strategy, corporate strategy, or a related field, including time spent translating strategy into execution
Strong structured problem solving: able to frame an ambiguous problem, build the analysis, and land a clear, well-supported recommendation
Solid fluency in digital product, data, and AI concepts, with enough depth to work credibly with product, engineering, and data science teams
Experience building business cases and prioritization models, including sizing value and weighing trade-offs across competing initiatives
Experience contributing to roadmaps or a product or transformation portfolio, including dependencies, sequencing, and progress tracking
Excellent communication and storytelling, with a track record of producing executive-ready materials and influencing without authority
Highly organized and self-directed, comfortable owning the detail and the operating mechanics of a fast-moving agenda
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, economics, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
Top-tier strategy consulting experience, or a blend of consulting and in-house digital or strategy work
Experience in consumer products, retail, or another large, decentralized, multi-market organization with a franchise or bottler model
Experience supporting governance, funding, or scorecard mechanisms for a digital or transformation portfolio
Ways of Working
Business-led: you start from growth and value, connecting digital and data to enterprise outcomes
Analytically rigorous: you let evidence drive the recommendation, and you are comfortable owning the underlying model and detail
Action-oriented: you turn strategy into plans, materials, and decisions, and you follow through to make sure they land
Technically and commercially fluent: you move between business ambition and technical reality without losing either audience
Collaborative: you build trust quickly across functions, markets, and technical teams, and you influence without relying on authority
Adaptable and self-directed: you thrive amid ambiguity and shifting priorities, and you bring structure to whatever you take on
What We’ll Do for You
Place you at the center of The Coca-Cola Company's technology, data, and AI agenda, shaping the strategy that fuels future growth
Give you direct exposure to senior digital leadership and the chance to see your analysis turn into decisions and action
Offer a clear path to grow your scope and ownership as the digital agenda scales across the system
Connect you with world-class teams across product, engineering, data, AI, and the broader transformation organization
Support your development as a digital strategy leader at one of the world’s most recognized brands
