As an ETL Automation Manager, you will lead the charge in transforming data engineering processes within our Data and Analytics Engineering group. You will be at the forefront of client support, driving data modernization initiatives and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to optimize data workflows. Within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, you will collaborate with diverse teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.

As a Manager, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring junior staff and managing client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and execution. You will be accountable for project success, maintaining standards, and inspiring your team to deliver quality results. Your leadership will be crucial in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm, embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will oversee the development and implementation of ETL automation strategies, confirming seamless integration and data flow across platforms. Your ability to navigate complex data environments and foster a culture of continuous improvement will be key to driving success in this dynamic field.

Responsibilities

- Leading ETL automation initiatives to enhance data processing efficiency
- Managing data engineering projects using platforms like Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory
- Developing and optimizing data pipelines and data architecture for seamless integration
- Implementing database management and security best practices across AWS and Snowflake platforms
- Guiding teams in strategic planning and execution of data transformation strategies
- Utilizing analytical thinking to troubleshoot and validate data warehouse indexing and performance tuning
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to address data challenges and opportunities
- Promoting the use of innovative technologies and leading practices in data engineering and analytics
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff to develop skills in data infrastructure and modeling
- Confirming data quality and validation processes to support accurate and reliable analytics

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
- ETL Automation + Guidewire Insurance - Manager

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks for data engineering
- Developing data architecture and data integration strategies for cloud platforms
