Truck to Truck Technician
The Truck to Truck Technician is responsible for safely moving, loading, unloading, palletizing, and transferring waste containers using a forklift. This position supports the efficient movement of materials between Company facilities, hubs, treatment plants, and direct generator locations while ensuring compliance with DOT, RCRA, environmental regulations, storage permits, and company safety standards. The Truck to Truck Technician also assists with transportation coordination, manifest tracking, and maintaining accurate operational records.
Schedule: There are three openings available. Two positions work 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, and one position works 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM.
Pay range $21-23 an hour
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, material handling, or a related field preferred.
- Forklift certification or forklift operating experience required.
- DOT and RCRA training required.
- OSHA 24-hour or 40-hour HAZWOPER certification with annual refresher training required.
- Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift in an industrial environment.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, climbing, and material handling.
- Offload, palletize, stage, and reload waste materials using a forklift.
- Coordinate loads between hubs, treatment facilities, and outbound destinations.
- Ensure transportation activities are efficient and comply with storage permits and regulatory requirements.
- Dispatch transportation from hub locations.
- Assist with tracking hazardous waste manifest return timelines.
- Maintain Hub Management databases and Outlook records.
- Safely operate forklifts while following all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support business operations.
