As an App Mod Engineer Senior Associate, you will be at the forefront of software and product innovation, focusing on developing transformative software solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. Within our Advisory practice, you will leverage your technical skills and creative thinking to design, code, and test applications that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work even when the path forward is unclear.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using critical thinking to break down complex concepts. By interpreting data to inform insights and recommendations, you will uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies.

Responsibilities

- Developing innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
- Designing, coding, and testing applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++
- Implementing software development methodologies including Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Managing application lifecycle and software project planning to deliver quality solutions
- Conducting code reviews and debugging to maintain coding standards and improve software quality
- Collaborating with clients to understand business requirements and deliver tailored solutions
- Utilizing enterprise application architecture and integration techniques to optimize system performance
- Leading business process improvement initiatives through effective application development and management
- Navigating complex situations and building meaningful client relationships to anticipate and address needs
- Mentoring junior team members and guiding them in software engineering practices and methodologies

What You Must Have

- At least 4 to 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Bachelor's degree

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Excelling in client management and relationship building
- Utilizing Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) methodologies
- Demonstrating proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript
- Managing application development using platforms like Mendix and OutSystems
