Overview:

The AI Go-to-Market Banking DACH Lead drives AI market development, pipeline growth, and revenue expansion across the banking industry in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The role combines executive engagement, opportunity shaping, commercial leadership, and the strategic positioning of next-generation AI solutions. It also serves as a visible voice for AI innovation and transformation among banking clients, partners, analysts, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the Banking AI go-to-market strategy across the DACH region.
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders at banks and banking service providers.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape AI opportunities, from lighthouse engagements to AI-native transformation programs.
  • Translate banking challenges into compelling AI business cases, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Partner with Client Partners, Sales, and Industry Leaders to originate and close AI engagements.
  • Lead executive-level presales, proposal positioning, and strategic deal reviews.
  • Coordinate the Banking AI GTM team across solution consulting, offering development, marketing, content, and analyst relations.
  • Develop new offerings and commercial models, including agentic AI, Service-as-Software, co-innovation, and AI-enabled services.
  • Collaborate with AI, cloud, data, and banking technology partners to strengthen solutions and routes to market.
  • Represent the organization as an AI thought leader at conferences, analyst briefings, and executive engagements.
  • Drive pipeline and revenue performance while embedding responsible AI, security, privacy, governance, model risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Operate effectively within a complex, international, and matrixed organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, technology, or industry roles, including progressive leadership responsibility.
  • 5+ years leading AI, data, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • 2+ years of practical experience with Generative AI, large language models, AI agents, or GenAI-enabled applications.
  • 5+ years of banking industry experience through client delivery, account ownership, or solution leadership, ideally in the DACH region.
  • Experience leading or supporting presales, solution shaping, proposals, and executive deal reviews.
  • Fluency in German and English and experience working with cross-cultural teams across DACH and Europe.

Preferred Skills

  • Proven experience developing and executing Banking GTM strategies in the DACH region.
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI, agentic AI, machine learning, NLP, banking value chains, and core processes.
  • Familiarity with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and banking technology ecosystems.
  • Track record of commercializing advanced technology solutions and driving growth in banking accounts.
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience with responsible AI, AI governance, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and model risk management in banking.
