- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or airport tenants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as directed.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, following applicable site policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
