Job Summary
Summary<br>Responsible for maintaining safety and cleanliness, along with sterile conditions, in settings that demand it. Maintain inventory and compile records, oversee routine maintenance and testing, and report any issues or needed repairs.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>No<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Monitor mechanical systems in operation to ensure efficient, safe use. <br>-Maintain strict maintenance schedules for critical systems, logging all repairs and inspections. <br>
-Quickly identify non-operational and malfunctioning systems before damage occurs. <br>
-Troubleshoot test failures to determine root causes and develop processes to avoid repeat failures. <br>
Qualifications
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No Licenses and Credentials Certified Registered Central Service Technician [CRCST] - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) preferred Experience Sterile Processing Experience 2-3 years required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Understand and interpret written and oral instructions. - Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. - Strong communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills.
