Job Description
As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Entry Control Patrol in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees, visitors, and site leadership while supporting a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven team culture at Allied Universal.

- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry and exit points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.
- Observe and report unusual conditions, damaged property, access-control concerns, and other security-related issues to site management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
