Job Summary
KBR is seeking a Payroll Specialist – Payroll Banking Administrator to support global payroll banking operations across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada. This role is responsible for coordinating payroll disbursements, managing payroll funding activities, ensuring banking and regulatory compliance and supporting treasury-related cash flow processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support payroll banking operations across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada.
- Manage payroll payment processing, funding activities and salary disbursements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Respond to employee payment inquiries and collaborate with banking partners to resolve payroll and compliance-related issues.
- Assist with payroll funding, cash flow analysis and treasury reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal controls and country-specific payroll requirements.
- Resolve operational issues by applying established payroll banking procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Treasury, Finance and banking stakeholders to support seamless payroll operations.
- Drive process improvements, maintain accurate documentation and support audit requirements.
- Build multi-country payroll expertise through cross-training and contribute to operational efficiency and business continuity.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience managing payroll disbursements and banking transactions in a corporate environment.
- Experience working with payroll payment processes across multiple countries or regions.
- Knowledge of payroll funding, banking operations and cash management principles.
- Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and Workday.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Experience administering payroll payments using global banking platforms.
- Working knowledge of Workday Payroll and payroll-related integrations.
- Sound understanding of Middle East Wage Protection System (WPS) compliance requirements.
- Experience with banking platforms including:
- CitiDirect
- BNP Paribas Connexis
- Straight2Bank (Standard Chartered Bank)
- Bank of America (BOFA) banking solutions
- Other global treasury and payroll banking platforms
- Experience supporting payroll operations for the Middle East, Asia Pacific, United States, United Kingdom, Australia and/or Canada.
- Strong data analytics and reporting capabilities.
- Experience working in a shared services or global payroll environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
