At Kuehne+Nagel, one of the world's leading logistics providers, we are looking for an Air Logistics Operational Care Specialist to support the successful coordination and execution of international air freight shipments.
In this role, you will act as a key link between customers, carriers, operational teams, and stakeholders around the world, ensuring shipments move efficiently, compliantly, and on time. - Coordinate and execute international air freight shipments from booking through delivery.
- Monitor shipments proactively to ensure on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation in compliance with air freight regulations.
- Maintain accurate shipment visibility and data integrity within operational systems.
- Collaborate with carriers, gateways, warehouses, customs teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate shipment updates, exceptions, and solutions to customers and business partners.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues that may impact service delivery.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and automation.
- Analyze operational reports and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Ensure adherence to Kuehne+Nagel operational standards, compliance requirements, and customer-specific procedures.
What we would like you to bring
- Freight Forwarding experience.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Experience in Air Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or Transportation Operations.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer service abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with air freight processes, documentation, and shipment coordination is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Valid U.S. Visa is a plus.
Work schedule: Monday to Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Under a Hybrid work model.
This position is subject to a rotating schedule and shift, which may vary between day, night, or mixed shifts. Your days off will also be assigned by the company, and both your schedule and days off may be modified with a minimum notice of five (5) business days.
