Job Description Summary

The EMEA Payroll Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing payroll operations across the EMEA region, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery. This role drives payroll process improvements, supports regional projects, and provides leadership to the payroll team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Payroll Operations

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across multiple EMEA countries
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with local regulations
  • Manage relationships with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Support and coordinate regional payroll teams
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance oversight
  • Act as escalation point for complex payroll issues

Process Management & Improvement

  • Lead payroll-related process discussions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Standardize and optimize payroll processes across the region
  • Ensure proper documentation and controls are in place

Projects & Transformation

  • Support ongoing and upcoming payroll projects (e.g., system implementations, harmonization)
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and IT on cross-functional initiatives
  • Drive change management and adoption within payroll operations

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure adherence to local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
  • Manage SOX audits and ensure proper controls and documentation
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary updates
