As a Cyber SOC Lead Manager, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding organizations from cyber threats through advanced technologies and strategies. You will focus on identifying vulnerabilities, developing secure systems, and providing proactive solutions to protect sensitive data. Within our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice, you will be responsible for effectively responding to and mitigating cyber threats, maintaining the security of client systems and data, and resolving security incidents to minimize potential damage and protect against future attacks.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Manila, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will address conflicts or issues, engage in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, and uphold professional and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading cybersecurity incident management efforts to effectively respond to and mitigate cyber threats
- Analyzing security incidents to identify vulnerabilities and develop proactive solutions
- Developing secure systems and strategies to safeguard sensitive data and maintain client system security
- Managing Security Operations Center (SOC) activities to validate timely detection and resolution of security incidents
- Implementing cybersecurity frameworks and governance to enhance threat mitigation measures
- Conducting digital forensics and forensic investigations to support incident response plans
- Utilizing network security platforms and firewall technologies to strengthen network infrastructure
- Collaborating with team leadership to validate quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentoring team members to leverage their strengths and enhance their skills in cybersecurity risk management
- Encouraging innovation and embracing change to improve cybersecurity strategies and operations
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 7 to 11 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to incident response and cyber defense, including GIAC (eg., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent incident response credentials
- Demonstrating proficiency in cybersecurity threat mitigation and incident management
- Utilizing advanced skills in digital forensics and forensic investigation
- Excelling in strategic planning and execution within cybersecurity frameworks
- Embracing change and innovation in cybersecurity governance and strategy
- Leading teams in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments and network security platforms
