Decisions involve the interpretation of general policies/procedures/instructions and formulation of methods and procedures. Promotes patient safety using the nursing process in regards to ostomy, wound and skin care. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.Position Details:Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or above required, Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.Experience: 4 years acute care nursing experience.Certifications: American Heart Association BLS.Other: Excellent communication skills.Preferred Education:Preferred Licensure:Preferred Experience:Preferred Certifications: Preferred graduate of an 8-week accredited school of Enterostomal Therapy.
