FLSA Status: Part-Time (Non-Exempt) / $16.00 per hour

Reports To: Operations Manager
Position Summary
The Housekeeper provides high-quality cleaning, maintenance, and setup services across all facility areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Essential Responsibilities
Facility Sanitation & Cleaning:
Sweep, scrub, mop, and wax hard surface floors.
Vacuum and deep-clean rugs and carpets using standard and specialized machinery (e.g., vacuums, buffers, shampoo machines).
Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, woodwork, walls, ceilings, restrooms, and window shades.
Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles.
Event Support & Facility Setup:
Set up event rooms precisely according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) diagrams.
Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and supplies safely.
Safety, Maintenance, & Customer Service:
Follow all established safety and sanitation procedures and maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Promptly report any facility damage, maintenance issues, or evidence of vandalism to management.
Maintain a professional, personable, and courteous demeanor when interacting with the public and coworkers.
Perform other related operational duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Requirements
Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical cleaning tasks.
Skills & Competencies:
Sufficient training, experience, and competence in commercial or facility janitorial operations.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team.
Customer-service oriented with a professional attitude toward the public.
