Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join our team!

 

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the skilled nursing department with some additional oversight for Assisted Living and Memory Care departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Iowa Department of Public Health requirements.
  • Plan, implement and administer programs and services including administration, training, and coordination of skilled nursing staff.
  • Oversee budget, staffing, census development, financial performance, and operational goals.
  • Drive occupancy, census development, and resident satisfaction.
  • Maintains communication among governing boards, medical staff, and department heads by attending board meetings and coordinating interdepartmental functioning.

 

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

 

  • Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or related field.
  • Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state skilled regulations, budgeting and financial management, quality improvement initiatives, survey preparedness, and regulatory compliance.

 

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00
