The Stroke and Neurointerventional Registered Nurse serves as the clinical expert supporting the stroke program and Neurointerventional services through patient education, staff education, quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. This role promotes evidence-based stroke care, supports optimal patient outcomes, and assists with coordination of care for patients requiring advanced stroke interventions.Holy Cross Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuroscience team as a Stroke & Neurointerventional RN. This position works closely with the stroke team, neurointerventional physicians, nursing teams, and multidisciplinary partners to support the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care for patients experiencing acute stroke.
The Stroke & Neurointerventional RN provides education to patients, families, and healthcare professionals while supporting stroke program initiatives, quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and process improvement efforts. This role may assist the neurointerventional team with coordination and care delivery for patients undergoing advanced stroke interventions, including emergent stroke procedures.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative and knowledgeable neuroscience nurse with experience in stroke care, patient education, clinical coordination, and a passion for improving outcomes for patients with neurological conditions. Must receive SCRN certification within 6 months of hire.
