This role goes beyond traditional data analysis, focusing on data transformation, cloud-based technologies, automation, and the practical application of artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability. What you will do:
- Analyze, transform, and validate data between source and destination systems using modern development practices, automation techniques, and AI assisted tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and delivery speed.
- Identify opportunities to apply artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation technologies to streamline processes, improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and accelerate solution delivery.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to refine requirements, participate in design sessions, and present ideas and recommendations to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Define, design, and implement data transformation solutions ranging from incremental enhancements for existing customers to complex enterprise scale implementations for new customers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production and customer issues as part of a rotating on-call support schedule, leveraging both traditional diagnostic techniques and AI enabled diagnostic tools where appropriate.
- Participate in peer reviews and technical design discussions to ensure solutions meet quality, security, maintainability, and performance standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, AI innovations, and industry trends, bringing new ideas and continuous improvement opportunities to the team and the broader organization.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering or related field
- AI first mindset.
- Multiyear experience with data analytics and transformation
- Python use and development
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EventBridge, et al.)
- API design, development and use experience
- Strong working experience with JSON, XML, and XSLT
Technical Skills
- Languages: Python, XSLT
- Cloud: AWS - S3, Lambda, EventBridge
- Version Control: GitHub / GitLab
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform
- Demonstrable AI cowork and code tool use proficiency
