About the Opportunity As a Baseband Software Developer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to develop software that supports Ericsson's 5G technology while helping prepare for the next generation of wireless networking. You'll have opportunities to contribute, learn from experts, and gain exposure to the entire software development lifecycle. ## What you will do: * Design and develop software components that support Ericsson's 5G radio access network solutions. * Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. * Contribute ideas and solutions for new 5G and future 6G capabilities. * Participate in software testing, troubleshooting, and feature integration activities. * Learn through collaborative design discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing. * Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance product quality and customer experience. ## The skills you will bring: We're interested in people who are eager to learn and grow. If you don't meet every qualification below, we still encourage you to apply. * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * Experience with or exposure to C/C++ programming through coursework, internships, personal projects, co-op terms, or professional experience. * Interest in embedded software development and systems programming. * Familiarity with concepts such as multithreading, concurrent programming, or software design principles. * Curiosity about wireless communications and mobile network technologies. * Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. * A growth mindset and willingness to learn from others. Nice to Have * Coursework, projects, or experience involving wireless communications, networking, or telecommunications. * Exposure to cloud-native technologies, containers, or distributed systems. * Interest in AI/ML applications within telecommunications and networking. * Familiarity with 3GPP standards or cellular technologies. ## Why Ericsson?
