How you create impact
The Customs Team Manager drives operational excellence by optimizing quality, performance, efficiency, workforce management, and employee development. This role ensures the execution of operational strategies, achievement of business targets, compliance with company standards, and strong stakeholder engagement while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.In this role, you will:
- Lead daily Customs operations, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and effective workload distribution.
- Maintain staffing levels, manage workforce planning, and oversee task allocation to meet business demands.
- Analyze operational performance and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities and drive productivity gains.
- Promote process standardization, operational governance, and compliance with SOPs, QSHE requirements, and business continuity plans.
- Lead, coach, and develop Customs teams through performance management, recruitment, succession planning, and career development initiatives.
- Build a high-performing and engaged team culture by establishing clear expectations, accountability, and growth opportunities.
- Develop strong relationships with business partners, customers, and stakeholders, providing visibility into performance, quality, and operational results.
- Proactively identify and escalate operational risks, resource constraints, and service-impacting issues while supporting customer satisfaction objectives.
- Drive process optimization initiatives through effective system utilization, automation opportunities, training, and best practices.
- Support the implementation of global and regional operational strategies while promoting knowledge-sharing and capability development across the team.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to ensure alignment with business objectives and continuous improvement goals.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Customs Management, or a related field preferred.
- Experience leading operational teams within Customs, Logistics, Shared Services, or Supply Chain environments.
- Experience managing performance metrics, workforce planning, and process improvement initiatives.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development, and performance management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Project management and process improvement skills.
- Knowledge of operational governance, compliance standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and regions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and customer-focused mindset.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday 7:45 am to 4:45pm Hybrid work Model
This position is subject to a rotating schedule and shift, which may vary between day, night, or mixed shifts. Your days off will also be assigned by the company, and both your schedule and days off may be modified with a minimum notice of five (5) business days.
