As a Pricing Technology PMO - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving client engagement workstreams within our Technology Consulting practice. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of pricing strategies and profitability analysis, directly impacting client success. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional client service. Your efforts will be instrumental in shaping the future of pricing and profitability strategies, making a tangible impact on our clients' businesses.

Responsibilities


Project Governance & Delivery Management

  • Own end-to-end governance for Pricefx implementation workstreams across design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Establish and maintain sprint cadence, status reporting, RAID tracking, escalation paths, release checkpoints, and leadership reviews.
  • Track timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, risks, issues, and action items across PwC and client teams.
  • Work with project leadership to define sprint goals, release objectives, delivery timelines, and implementation checkpoints.
  • Ensure activities remain aligned with agreed scope, delivery methodology, project plan, and client expectations.
  • Identify delivery risks early and escalate blockers, delays, dependency gaps, or resourcing concerns to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate release readiness across functional, development, QA, data/integration, and deployment teams.

Agile / Scrum Execution

  • Oversee Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and defect triage meetings.
  • Partner with functional leads, technical leads, QA leads, and product owners to ensure user stories are defined, prioritized, estimated, and ready for development.

Jira / Project Tracking Tool Management

  • Own Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tracking tools for delivery and leadership visibility.
  • Maintain sprint boards, dashboards, filters, reports, and project views for team-level and leadership-level visibility.
  • Prepare dashboards showing planned vs actual progress, sprint completion, open risks, defect trends, dependencies, and milestones.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate across client business, client IT, PwC functional consultants, Pricefx developers, QA testers, data/integration teams, release teams, and leadership.
  • Ensure functional requirements are clearly handed over to development and QA teams.
  • Facilitate resolution of requirement gaps, design clarifications, testing blockers, defect priorities, and deployment dependencies.
  • Drive communication between offshore and onshore teams across time zones and ensure timely closure of decisions and actions.

Status Reporting & Leadership Communication

  • Prepare daily/weekly project status reports and executive dashboards for PwC and client leadership.
  • Communicate project health clearly, including what is on track, at risk, delayed, and where leadership support is required.
  • Provide updates on development progress, QA execution, SIT/UAT readiness, release status, and open dependencies.
  • Highlight critical path items, upcoming milestones, escalation needs, and key decisions required.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Maintain RAID logs covering risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies across the project.
  • Track blockers with clear ownership, due dates, next steps, and escalation paths.
  • Proactively identify risks related to scope, timeline, resource availability, requirements clarity, defect backlog, testing readiness, data readiness, and integration dependencies.
  • Work with project leads on mitigation plans and escalate unresolved issues to PwC and client leadership when needed.

Testing, Release & Hypercare Coordination

  • Coordinate with QA leads and functional teams to track SIT, regression testing, UAT, defect retesting, and business sign-off.
  • Ensure test progress, defect status, blockers, and pending clarifications are visible to leadership.
  • Support release planning by tracking scope readiness, defect closure, deployment dependencies, cutover tasks, and approval checkpoints.
  • Facilitate go/no-go discussions and track hypercare issues, ownership, timelines, and business impact.

Documentation & Process Discipline

  • Maintain project plans, sprint plans, meeting notes, action trackers, RAID logs, status reports, dashboards, and governance documentation.
  • Ensure project documentation is organized, current, and accessible to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in PMO, Scrum Master, project management, Agile delivery, or technology implementation roles.
  • Experience managing enterprise technology implementation projects, preferably in pricing, CPQ, ERP, CRM, revenue management, or commercial transformation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery, sprint planning, backlog tracking, defect management, and release governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for project tracking, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to prepare executive dashboards, status reports, meeting notes, and action trackers.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams, deadlines, dependencies, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify risks, manage escalations, and drive timely closure of open actions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Management, or related field preferred.

    - At least 9 years of experience
    - Oral and written proficiency in English required

    What Sets You Apart

    Prior experience supporting Pricefx or pricing transformation projects. 
  • Experience in consulting delivery environments with client-facing responsibilities. 
  • PMP, SAFe, Agile, Scrum Master, or project management certification preferred. 
  • Experience working with distributed global teams across multiple time zones.
