Job Description
As a Security Officer Credential Management in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by managing visitor and resident access, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service while maintaining clear communication with residents, guests, and team members. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals according to community procedures.
- Respond to access-related incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with residents and property management while reporting unusual activity, access-control issues, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
