You will report directly to the Opex Finance Manager, collaborating closely to ensure accurate financial closing, cost control and financial planning.You’ll work cross-functionally with the Business FP&A team and Tax team within Finance, and partner closely with Operation and budget owners across the company. You’ll also ensure robust expense tracking, reporting, and compliance—contributing directly to operational excellence and financial transparency at Lam Research Korea.What you’ll do Key Responsibilities:Expense Accounting, Closing & Account ReconciliationPrepare and record Operating Expense journal entries in accordance with company accounting policies and requirementsPerform closing activities related to operating expenses, including accruals, prepaid expenses, reclassifications, and other adjustmentsReview and analyze operating expense transactions to ensure completeness, accuracy and proper accounting treatmentPrepare account reconciliations and investigate/resolution of outstanding reconciling items on a timely basisSupport internal and external audits, SOX documentation, and other compliance activitiesOPEX & CAPEX Forecasting and Budget ManagementOwn the end-to-end process of forecasting, reviewing, and managing Operating Expenses (OPEX) and Capital Expenditures (CAPEX)Actively participate in all forecasting cycles, providing financial insights and driving planning accuracyUse planning tool, Workday-Adaptive to manage forecasting workflows, improve data integrity, and deliver timely, strategic financial plansCollect and validate budget inputs, working closely with budget owners to ensure efficient controlProvide guidance on cost optimization and ensure compliance with internal policies and financial targetsExpense Analysis & Decision SupportAnalyze expense reports, identify trends, and investigate variances from budgetDeliver accurate and timely data-driven analysis to support the manager and management in strategic and operational decision-makingConduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and performance tracking to generate actionable insightsWho we’re looking for Experience:Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or FP&AExperience working in a multinational company is requiredBackground in the semiconductor industry is a strong plusSkillsStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial processesAbility to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed recommendationsEffective verbal and written communication with stakeholders at all levelsFluent in both Korean and EnglishExperience with SAP and familiarity with Workdays-Adaptive planning tool is a plusCPA or equivalent professional certification is a plusPreferred qualifications Our commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
