Role Overview and Purpose
The Analyst, HR Operations Hourly will support Pearson HR in reducing, merging, updating, formatting, and optimizing more than 2,900 HR knowledge articles as part of a project to migrate the HR KM library to a new knowledge base. The analyst will conduct content editing and formatting, metadata creation, content migration, and article quality review in alignment with Pearson HR Knowledge Management guides, standards, templates, and principles.
This role also supports the optimization of HR knowledge content for Pearson AI agents, bots, and search tools by improving article clarity, metadata, structure, formatting, and retrievability. The Analyst will work across the full knowledge management lifecycle, from Create to Publish to Retirement, while ensuring all content meets quality standards before publication.
The Analyst will coordinate with HR teams, KM teams from IT and Finance, the HR Automation team, and members of the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO). High accountability, attention to detail, and consistent adherence to HR KM processes and quality controls are expected.
Primary Responsibilities
Knowledge Article Migration and Optimization
Edit, format, migrate, and optimize HR knowledge articles for the new knowledge base.
Support the reduction, merging, retirement, updating, and standardization of more than 2,900 HR KM articles.
Apply Pearson HR KM guides, formats, templates, naming conventions, and content standards consistently.
Create and update metadata to improve article discoverability, search performance, and AI agent response quality.
Use HTML to format knowledge articles when required by the publishing process.
Adjust and refine article content to improve responses from Pearson AI agents, bots, and search tools.
Impact Analysis and Article Disposition
Conduct impact analysis for assigned HR business areas or HR workflows to identify articles related to a specific subject area.
Use impact analysis findings to coordinate with authors on article disposition prior to migration.
Track author decisions to retain and migrate, retire, or merge content with similar or duplicate articles.
Execute final article disposition decisions by migrating, retiring, merging, updating, formatting, and preparing content for quality review.
Quality Review, Article Publishing, and BAU Support
Use the Article Quality Index tool to verify article quality before publication.
Ensure all content passes required quality audits prior to publication.
Track all actions taken to alter, retire, merge, or migrate content in the centralized HR KM team migration matrix.
Act on assigned critical business-as-usual HR content update requests using established HR KM processes, workflows, and quality reviews.
Support unit, smoke, or integration testing as needed for the KM migration or related knowledge platform activities.
Translate articles into approved languages when requested, using approved translation tools.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with HR business teams, HR authors, HR KM team members, IT KM teams, Finance KM teams, HR Automation stakeholders, and OCTO partners.
Communicate clearly with article owners and project stakeholders regarding article status, disposition decisions, outstanding actions, and publication readiness.
Work effectively in a team environment while managing assigned work independently and meeting tight deadlines.

Required Qualifications and Experience
Must Have
Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Mastery of writing knowledge articles in English.
2+ years of experience working with and publishing articles in ServiceNow’s Knowledge Management Module.
High-level understanding of HR business functions and the relationships between those functions.
Ability to work with tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to use HTML when formatting KM articles.
Experience using Copilot or other AI agents.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
