Control Automation Analyst-SAS Developer-Vice President,
Job Summary: The Vice President, Control Automation Analyst, is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the strategy, development, and execution of data-driven control automation initiatives within the USCC Controls Automation team. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills to ensure robust risk management, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities & Impacts:
Strategic Leadership & Project Management:
- Represent the USCC Controls Automation team, leading and overseeing complex control-related business projects from conception to implementation.
- Drive multi-faceted System of Records (SOR) migrations impacting hundreds of jobs, coordinating seamlessly with Technology and Operations partners while providing guidance to team members.
- Collaborate strategically with AIM partners to ensure successful completion and implementation of control automation projects.
Advanced Technical Expertise & Solution Design:
- Leverage expert-level proficiency in SQL, Advanced SAS, EDW, Big Data, Oracle, and other analytical tools within a UNIX environment to perform sophisticated risk, financial, and data analyses (profiling, sampling, reconciliation, quality testing).
- Architect and implement robust infrastructure solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of CyberArk FID architecture and NDM processes, to support a scalable and secure automation environment.
- Perform in-depth data mining and research into data sources to critically clarify, refine, and translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing automated business workflows using tools such as Xceptor, Appian, or PEGA.
- Proficiency in integrating workflow solutions with various enterprise systems, databases, and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Communication:
- Develop compelling proposals and effectively communicate complex data insights, findings, and strategic recommendations on control automation initiatives to senior management, securing alignment and approvals.
- Lead and drive discussions in audit reviews and regulatory reporting forums, engaging effectively with Quality Control, Operations, Technology, and Risk partners to gain strategic approvals.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, offering authoritative guidance and insights.
Mentorship & Team Development:
- Provide direct leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their technical growth and project execution capabilities as an individual contributor.
- Lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams by setting high engineering standards for both data analytics and AI development.
- Guide senior engineers on SAS and Workflow solutions and structure project delivery for growth from proof-of-concept to enterprise scale.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in technology delivery, including 3+ years of proven experience designing and shipping production-grade SAS and Workflow solutions.
- Data & Analytics Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in SQL, Advanced SAS, EDW, Big Data, Oracle, Mainframe and other analytical tools within a UNIX environment.
- Infrastructure Knowledge: Deep understanding of CyberArk FID architecture and NDM processes.
- Enterprise Delivery: Proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions within a large, regulated enterprise.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong stakeholder communication, influencing skills, and demonstrated team leadership and mentorship capabilities.
