POSITION SUMMARY:   


The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in helping our Sales Directors maximize their selling time and drive new business growth. Serving as a trusted partner to the sales team, this position provides administrative, operational, and customer support that improves efficiency, streamlines sales processes, and enables Sales Directors to focus on building client relationships and closing new business.

Working closely with Sales Directors and Sales Leadership, the Sales Support Specialist delivers timely information, coordinates sales activities, manages documentation, and ensures the sales team has the tools and resources needed to succeed. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys supporting a fast-paced sales environment and contributing directly to revenue growth.

This role will work 9:00am - 6:00pm, Central Time


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide exemplary assistance and sales support
    • Manage sales support activity
    • Inbound phone calls, as assigned
    • Incoming emails, as assigned 
    • Create and send proposals to provider/clients on behalf of SD
    • Align with Sales goals and expectations
    • Facilitate virtual meetings and webinars for the SDs based on request and need
    • Assistance in lead administration and management through salesforce.com 
  • Provide Exemplary sales administration management
    • Manage and triage application requests and completion to ensure sales are not delayed due to incomplete information
    • Proposal Follow Up and Opportunity Management to drive 
    • Facilitate SD Production and Commissions inquiries 
    • Report Generation 
    • Technical Support 
  • Provide Exemplary Service Offering support 
    • Support Provider Education Campaigns
    • Subject Matter Expert on Products, Tools and Technology to support sales
    • Facilitate and Deliver Pre-Scheduled Client Seminars and Demos thru TASC
    • Escalate SD issues thru appropriate channels, follow and report back to ensure issues is resolved and completed on behalf of SD. Update appropriate parties as needed.
  • Operate within TASC’s guidelines pursuant to the Employee Handbook and all Policies and Procedures 
  • Perform additional duties as requested by Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education and/or experience equivalent to an Associate degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • A minimum of three years’ professional experience working in a sales environment preferred
  • Strong MS Excel skills are required
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
