Security Officer
Security Officer needed to adhere to security operating procedures (SOP) and assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment for the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club. Security Officer must work independently, as part of a team and possess extraordinary customer relations as a Gate House Officer. The desired candidate should possess previous experience, have a satisfactory driving record and be capable of conducting vehicle patrols/foot patrols if necessary.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with residents, members, staff, security personnel and management
- Provide courteous, respectful and pleasant interactions
- Foot patrols
- Prepare reports on daily shift activity
- Accurately relay pertinent information to Supervisor, Director of Security, and the General Manager
- Handle emergency response in accordance with established procedures
- Document and report incidents and maintenance matters
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Satisfactory driving record (required to operate company-owned vehicle)
- Professional Demeanor and Appearance • High Level of Integrity
- Strong Work Ethic
- Attention to detail
- CCTV and Access control experience
- Ability to work independently and with other security team members
- Prior experience required - (security, military or law enforcement)
Available Shifts:
- $16.00 hr
- 40 hrs, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10pm-6am
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts and assist with call-out or Co-worker vacation
