Job Summary

As a key member of the Lower 48 Data Team, the Senior Data Solutions Integrator is responsible for leading the implementation, delivery, and operational support of Lower 48 data integration solutions that enable critical business capabilities across the L48 Business Units. This role serves as a hands-on technical leader and trusted advisor for data solution design, system connectivity, and integration.

The position collaborates closely with business analysts, architects, application teams, service provider leads, project teams, and operations and engineering teams to ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

This position can be located in Houston, TX, Midland TX, or Bartlesville, OK.

Position Overview

Your Responsibilities may include:

Integration Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Lead the implementation of data integrations and interfaces between L48 applications, data platforms, and third-party solutions.

  • Coordinate delivery activities across internal teams, support vendors, business stakeholders and project teams.

  • Translate approved business and functional requirements into detailed technical integration requirements.

  • Configure, develop, test, and deploy integration components according to established standards and project timelines. Own integration solutions through deployment to operational support.

  • Ensure integration solutions meet business, security, quality, and operational requirements; validate data accuracy, completeness, and reconciliation across systems.

  • Collaborate with global program teams on identified IT initiatives, to ensure successful implementation/enhancements of our applications’ data interfaces aligned with solution requirements.

  • Identify, design, model and implement best-in-class solutions in an integrated data environment while always considering sustainability and scalability.

  • Ensure appropriate documentation is maintained for testing, deployment, and support processes.

  • Ensure solutions are aligned with the Corporate Data Management and AI Strategy and Governance Standards.

Solution Operations & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure reliable, secure, and SLA-compliant support of L48 integrations and applications through effective vendor oversight and governance.

  • Own and maintain operational support documentation, including integrations, monitoring requirements, troubleshooting procedures, and support processes.

  • Lead investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex integration and data quality issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Oversee production releases, deployments, upgrades, and enhancements, including CI/CD code review and deployment approvals.

  • Design and maintain required tables, views, and supporting data structures by understanding end-to-end business processes and integration needs.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance solution reliability, automation, supportability, and operational efficiency through standardization, modern tools, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.

  • 7 or more years of experience in data integration, application integration, data engineering, systems implementation, or related IT disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7 or more years of experience in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.

  • Familiarity with Lower 48 Business Unit data and application integration ecosystem.

  • Strong SQL, data analysis, and data warehousing expertise, with the ability to translate functional requirements, design patterns, and architecture into technical solutions and test strategies.

  • Experience designing and supporting complex system integrations using ETL/ELT processes, APIs, file-based interfaces, and modern integration technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica).

  • Experience integrating ERP, operational, financial, and production systems.

  • Experience working within cloud-based environments and data ecosystems with solid understanding of Data Warehousing techniques and data architecture.

  • Experience delivering solutions across the full lifecycle in Agile/product-oriented environments.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and release management practices, and complex issue resolution.

  • Knowledge of data quality, security, compliance, governance, and operational support practices for enterprise data and integration solutions.

  • Experience managing vendor-delivered services and collaborating across multiple teams to support reliable, scalable, and secure data platforms.
