Picture yourself creating unforgettable event experiences. When you join our Hotels team, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional audio visual services. As the Assistant Director of Audio Visual, you will oversee the seamless operation of the hotel's AV systems, coordinate with internal departments and external event production partners, and ensure all audio visual equipment is maintained and event-ready. Every event you support contributes to creating memorable experiences that reflect the warmth and excellence of our hospitality.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Liaise with an external audio visual event production company to ensure seamless planning, setup, and execution of events.
- Maintain accountability for all hotel audio visual equipment, ensuring proper inventory control, maintenance, security, and operational readiness.
- Ensure all AV equipment is properly maintained and operational.
- Work closely with Events, Banquets, Sales, and Engineering to meet client requirements.
- Monitor AV inventory, equipment maintenance, and departmental expenses.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel operating procedures.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Audio Visual Technology, Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel or event AV operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and conferencing systems.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
