This is an operating seat, not an advisory one. You'll be measured on outcomes you're accountable for: distribution expanded, funnels improved, programs shipped, numbers moved.

The ideal person has already done two things well: they've learned to break problems down from first principles (usually early in consulting), and they've since gone deep enough in an operating role to know that context of the field is everything — that you can't run a business line on frameworks alone.

What you'll own

Growth / business charter — take a defined charter, translate it into a plan with clear metrics, and drive it to outcomes across quarters.

GTM & distribution — design and scale how we get to market and expand distribution; own channel strategy and execution.

Sales excellence — build the systems, motions, and enablement that make the sales engine repeatable and efficient.

Program & delivery management — run cross-functional programs on time and against goals; keep strategy and on-the-ground execution tightly connected.

Cross-functional leadership — work across product, sales, marketing, and ops to unblock and deliver, often without direct authority.

Who you are

Your background likely looks something like this (the shape matters more than the exact stops):

Analytical foundation — 1–2 years in consulting or a similarly rigorous, first-principles environment. You reason from the ground up rather than pattern-matching.

Business grounding — an MBA or equivalent that repositioned you toward general management.

Depth, not hopping — you've spent a real stretch (2–3 years) building credibility inside one company rather than moving every year. You know what it takes to earn trust and get things done in a single system.

Operating experience with a charter — you've since moved into an execution-driven role where you owned a growth or business charter and were accountable for outcomes.

Domain fluency — you understand the field you operate in deeply, and you know that this context is what separates a generalist from someone who can actually run the business.

6–9 years total experience — senior enough to own a charter, still early enough to be hands-on.

What We're Looking For

A leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capability.

Someone who enjoys solving ambiguous business problems and creating scalable solutions.

Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.

Strong people leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

Passion for building high-performing teams and creating long-term business impact.

Why Join Us?

This role offers the opportunity to shape the organisation's strategic direction, build a high-impact Centre of Excellence, and work directly with senior leadership to solve critical business challenges. If you are passionate about driving transformation, building scalable businesses, and leading high-performing teams, we'd love to hear from you.
