Job Summary: 

Join Pratt & Whitney at our Columbus Engine Center as a Records Analyst and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, traceability, and compliance of aircraft engine records. In this role, you will review documentation for Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) engines, helping maintain the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance that keep our operations running safely and efficiently.  

This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5 am – 3:30 pm 

What You Will Do:  

  • Review and inspect electronic and hardcopy records such as disassembly, assembly and inspection records packages, and generate the required documents for the Engine Mini-Pack. 
  • Ensure all records meet internal standards as well as customer and regulatory requirements 
  • Identify and investigate record discrepancies; perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions 
  • Document findings and maintain accurate records within applicable systems 
  • Support internal and customer audits/investigations by providing thorough and compliant documentation 
  • You will perform records analysis and research on customer records questions or concerns.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (CORE) to enhance records processes and overall efficiency 
  • Coordinate records requirements with customer programs and customers to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory requirements.
  • Records review via SAP, ESVR and SOLUMINA systems.
  • Return to Service issuing maintenance release of parts, components and engines.
  • Perform root cause analysis of records non-conformances (when applicable), make recommendations for corrective action, and track for effectiveness.
  • Interacts with Operations, Materials, Component Repair, Customer Programs and Engineering personnel to resolve any records-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Provides training / awareness relative to engine records processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:  

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent 
  • Currently holds CEC Inspection Stamp 
  • 2+ years’ relevant experience 
  • Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts


Qualifications We Prefer: 

  • A&P License, Military Training, Technical Training, or Jet Engine Inspection Experience 
  • Records or GTF, F117,F100 engine inspection experience  
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve configuration or documentation discrepancies 
  • Familiarity with records management in regulated environments 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ESVR, and SAP Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word
