TOOL ROOM ATTENDANT
Position Summary
Austin Industrial is seeking a Warehouse/Toolroom Attendant to support maintenance operations at the Oxea Bishop facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing toolroom and warehouse activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, issuing and tracking tools and materials, and providing support to site personnel to ensure efficient daily operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Issue, receive, and track tools, equipment, and supplies for maintenance personnel.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of tools, consumables, and warehouse materials.
- Organize and keep the warehouse and toolroom clean, orderly, and accessible.
- Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking incoming materials and equipment.
- Conduct routine inventory counts and verify inventory accuracy.
- Inspect tools and equipment for condition and serviceability.
- Coordinate tool repairs, replacements, and calibrations as needed.
- Support maintenance and craft personnel by ensuring required tools and materials are readily available.
- Follow all site safety, environmental, and housekeeping requirements.
- Perform general warehouse duties and other assignments as directed by supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous warehouse, toolroom, inventory control, or industrial support experience preferred.
- Experience in a refinery, chemical plant, industrial construction, or maintenance environment is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and experience maintaining inventory records preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Must be able to meet DISA screening requirements.

Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education: no minimum education requirements.
Certification/License: NCCER Boilermaker certification, a Valid Driver’s License and TWIC Card
Experience: 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
