Apply today!About the roleThe CDL Driver III will transport hazardous and non hazardous waste between company facilities and customer sites across a multi state regional footprint. This role blends regional and long haul work and requires a high level of flexibility in schedule and time on the road. Drivers operate a variety of manual and automatic equipment including dry vans, walking floor trailers, and CO2 trailers.ResponsibilitiesOperate commercial vehicles safely over regional and long distance routes in compliance with DOT regulations and company standardsTransport materials between locations in Texas, Louisiana, Nevada, and Utah based on dispatch and load assignmentsPerform primarily drop and hook operations with occasional loading and unloading using pumps and hosesComplete pre trip and post trip inspections of vehicles and equipmentMaintain accurate transportation documentation including manifests, bills of lading, logs, and inspection reportsEnsure proper placarding of vehicles in accordance with DOT regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery status, issues, or delaysFollow routing instructions and adjust to changing schedules and load demandsMaintain a strong commitment to safety for employees, customers, and the publicQualificationsMust be 21 years or olderValid CDL Class A requiredTanker endorsement required and HazmatMinimum 3 years of commercial driving experience ideally with tanker or specialized equipmentAcceptable driving recordAbility to operate both manual and automatic transmissionsSchedule and RouteRegional and OTR hybrid model covering Texas, Louisiana, Nevada, and UtahTypical operating window is Monday through Saturday depending on load demandStart times vary and are dispatch drivenDrivers are generally out for about a week at a time but this is not consistentHome time is not guaranteed weekly and depends on business needsDrivers must be comfortable being out for extended periods ranging from multiple weeks up to a month at a timeSchedule is not fixed or predictable and requires full flexibilityEquipment and Work EnvironmentSleeper cabsCombination of manual and automatic transmissionsWork performed in varying weather and environmental conditionsPhysical DemandsAbility to sit for extended periods while drivingAbility to stand, walk, and climb as neededAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work at heights and in confined spacesAbility to work in varying weather conditionsCompensation and BenefitsOvertime expected with typical 60 to 70 hour work weeks$60 per day per diem while on the roadMedical, dental, and vision coverageHealth savings and flexible spending account optionsRetirement savings planPaid time off and company holidaysEmployee assistance programsCompany‑provided safety training and development opportunitiesIn addition to salary, this role is...
